The EMBLEME polo shirt is inspired by old cycling jerseys and the myth of the climber: Palmarès made it its emblem to honour the pioneers of 1920 who, with their heavy bikes, on unpaved roads, accomplished authentic feats in the mythical passes of the Tour de France: Tourmalet, Izoard, Galibier.
These heroes have fascinated all generations of cyclists who consider them as great adventurers of the early 20th century and of world cycling.
Palmarès has chosen to produce this high-end EMBLEME polo shirt in Portugal by choosing recognized manufacturers who respect quality standards (production and environment).
100% PGM cotton (mercerised gassed combed) represents the cotton used in luxury textiles. It offers a very soft, silky touch and a luminous shine.
The embroidery of the logo that faithfully reproduces our 1920s climber (as a dancer, the two cans on the handlebars, the inner tubes on his shoulders and the glasses thrown off the cap) brings a very fine signature to this piece.
The buttons are engraved and the one on the neck is a specific replica of the old cycling jerseys of the 1950's which gives a unique, authentic side and defines the fashion "vintage cycling jerseys".
The plain black colour allows Palmarès to present a very sober basic that exudes elegance.
The two small waist cut-outs bring back to life the famous pennants that adorned the cars and motorcycles of the Tour de France organisation: these pennant cut-outs give a casual touch to the EMBLEME.
